Smart medicine boxes equipped with GPS positioning can remind patients to take medication on time, increasing medication adherence to 82%, effectively avoiding condition worsening caused by missed doses. Remote ECG monitoring systems have tripled the detection rate of arrhythmias, providing important support for early diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias.
A typical case shows that a community health service center equipped 200 hypertension patients with smart blood pressure monitors, analyzed data through AI, and pushed intervention plans. Within 6 months, the blood pressure control rate rose from 53% to 79%, and emergency visit rates dropped by 40%. This case fully demonstrates the significant effect of health technology in chronic disease management, which not only improves patients' health levels but also reduces medical expenses.
Experts point out that further integration of health technology with medical insurance payments will accelerate the transformation of chronic disease management models. Currently, some regions have begun to include smart health devices and remote health management services in medical insurance reimbursement, which will further increase patients' enthusiasm for using health technology products and promote the intelligence and precision of chronic disease management.
